It was a thursday night when I had to attend the geek fest at Plum, Monot with my classmates.

I have to say it was rather interesting.

At first I wasn’t that excited to attend the festival especially because it was all part of an assignment. But i have to admit, it was also an adventure.

We had to take pictures and videos of the event but unfortunately it was impossible to do so. It was way too dark, and the funny thing is none of our phones had a flash.

The place was really nice because it was very spacious. The thing I enjoyed the most was the music. They played a lot of different music, some were old some were new.

Now the more serious part. Many different people talked about their organisations, and the business they were running, and I have to say this is the part I least enjoyed. First of all, the sound system was so bad that every time someone spoke into the mic there was a malfunction. It actually hurt my ears.

Another thing was that since it was the 1st time we attended the geek fest, we did not really understand what was going on, or what these people were talking about. They didn’t really know how to catch the audiences attention.

But overall, the event was different and somehow interesting. The fun part was us trying to capture a decent video or picture, trying to find a good angle where there was enough light.
