November 09 2010, famous journalist Octavia Nasr held a conference at the Gulbekian theatre in LAU.
She worked in CNN for 20 years and got to talk to us about her experience as a journalist.
too bad we couldn’t ask more personal questions. As soon as she started her speech she warned us not to ask her anything about her past summer.
Which was too bad because I am sure half of the people who attended the conference were mostly interested in what she had to say about her life and experience than learning about the new social media.
Nasr was brilliant in her speech, very lively, made the audience laugh and was joking around. I think she is an amazing person, with a great character and i would have liked meeting her in person!
